TPC Kuala Lumpur treat for PEYAKIN Home

TPC Kuala Lumpur hosted children and caretakers from the PEYAKIN Home for orphans and underprivileged children to a Ramadan ‘Buka Puasa’ (breaking of fast) buffet on June 20.

Dubbed ‘Lighting of Hearts’, the event started with a fun-filled bowling competition for the children, who were also given a chance to experience the club’s other indoor recreational facilities such as video games, table tennis and mini theatre.

Joining the entourage from the home for the buffet were TPC Kuala Lumpur chief executive Steven Thielke, club captain Dato’ Mustafa Mohd Ali and the management team. The children were shown a special Rising Star Juniors video montage which included footage shot at the PEYAKIN Home late last year.

A balloon contest and pop quiz were conducted with some cool prizes on offer for the children, who were also presented  with duit raya and goody bags by Dato’ Mustafa  and Thielke. The club also presented a hamper to the principle of PEYAKIN, Wan Abdul Hisham.
