Titleist will be introducing prototype 818 hybrids this week on both the PGA Tour and European Tour as its seeding and validation process continues.
Titleist tour reps and R&D team members are on site at both the John Deere Classic and the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open, where they will spend the next few days fitting players into prototype 818 hybrids while answering their performance questions and gathering feedback and data.
The seeding and validation process for prototype Titleist 718 irons, which began two weeks ago, also continues at both events.
Product seeding and player validation is a critical step in the go-to-market process for all Titleist equipment. Earning the validation of tour players as well as dedicated golfers at every level of the game ensures that new products are faithful to the Titleist brand promise of innovation, performance and quality excellence.
