Hailed as Cobra Golf’s longest and fastest driver yet, the new King F9 Speedback achieves true optimisation of aerodynamics and a super low centre-of-gravity (CG).
Speedback Technology: The highly-aerodynamic clubhead shape combines with a low CG – created by an engineered weight structure on the sole – to increase clubhead speed and efficiency of energy transfer to the ball.
CNC Precision Milled Face: This allows for a thinner and hotter face design, creating ball speed increases of up to 1.5mph when tested against traditional, hand-polished faces. The more precise face thickness and tighter tolerances increase the benefits of Dual Roll Technology, which optimises face curvatures to minimise dispersion on mis-hits.
Aeroficient Design: To create a more aerodynamic shape, Cobra’s engineers raised the perimeter skirt, tail and crown, and rounded the leading edges to reduce drag and improve speed and stability.
Carbon Wrap Crown: The ultra-light carbon wrap crown around the lightweight 8-1-1 Titanium body delivers a 12% larger carbon fibre area, while saving 10g of weight compared to an all-titanium crown.
360 Aero Technology: Lightweight polymer crown trips and titanium sole trips positioned relative to airflow further help reduce drag. Strategically-placed PWR Ridges enhance aerodynamics and add rigidity to the carbon crown for more energy return to the ball.
E9 Speed Tuned Technology: This optimises bottom roll curvatures on the face to tune launch and spin for different swing speeds and attack angles. The variable thickness face creates an elliptical Sweet Zone with more hot spots away from the centre.
Customisation: Interchangeable weights (14g/2g weights for global specs and 10g/2g for Asian specs) allow golfers to move the CG in the front or back positions. Cobra’s MyFly8 with Smart Pad Technology results in eight loft settings (and three draw) to fine-tune launch conditions while ensuring a square clubhead at address.
Cobra Connect: The 2019 King F9 family of products continue to employ Cobra Connect Powered by Arccos, which employs electronically embedded sensors in the grip which automatically record the distance and accuracy of every shot. Golfers can track on-course performance data for every club in the bag and see critical strokes gained analysis.
