Lady golfers looking for easy-hitting irons and hybrids will love Ping’s latest iterations for the fairer sex, the new G Le2 irons and hybrids, designed to allow women to swing faster with more feel and control.
The 10% higher MOI irons utilise COR-Eye Technology with a deep top-rail undercut to increase face flexing for more distance and higher max height. A thin, CarTec Custom 455 face in the hybrids generates faster ball speeds and a low, deep CG helps increase the MOI to launch the ball high with greater forgiveness.
Ladies can opt for any combination to build the ideal set for achieving proper distance gaps. The G Le2 irons and hybrids are part of a complete ladies range which includes drivers, fairways and putters.
“The G Le2 represents our continued commitment to providing women golfers of every skill level with premium, high-performance equipment optimised to their swing speeds,” said Ping executive vice president Stacey Pauwels.
G Le2 Irons: Precise and forgiving with a lighter overall club weight, the G Le2 irons utilise COR-Eye Technology with a deep top-rail undercut to increase face flexing for more ball speed and higher max height. A tungsten toe weight helps increase MOI by 10% for greater forgiveness and a co-moulded cavity badge ensures a pleasing feel and sound. The irons are available in 6-9, PW and SW.
G Le2 Hybrids: A thinner, hotter CarTec Custom 455 face and lighter club weight generate faster ball speeds while a lower, deeper CG helps increase the MOI to launch the ball high with greater forgiveness. Softer crown turbulators help frame the ball at address and aid in alignment.
The addition of a 34° 7H option to the 4H (22°), 5H (26°) and 6H (30°) expands the fitting options for women who prefer the technology of a hybrid in place of an iron.
