FEBRUARY 14, 2020
Write Track Publishing & Communications (WTPC), the organisers of the ParGolf Travel & Lifestyle Expo, have decided to postpone this year’s inaugural event due to health concerns arising from the Covid-19 (novel coronavirus) outbreak.
The expo was originally scheduled for March 6-8, 2020, at the Starling mall in Damansara Uptown, Petaling Jaya. It will now take place sometime in the second half of the year with the confirmed new date expected to be announced within the next few weeks.
“The escalating Covid-19 virus outbreak has left us with no choice but to postpone the ParGolf Travel & Lifestyle Expo. This decision was reached upon much deliberation as the health of exhibitors, speakers and visitors is our topmost priority. Our overseas exhibitors also voiced their concerns about travelling at this point in time,” said WTPC managing director Terrence Loh.
“Furthermore, with junior golf being one of the focal points of the expo, we felt that it would have been inappropriate to proceed when it is uncertain if the virus outbreak will worsen. We are currently in discussions with our venue partner, the Starling, and confirmed exhibitors to select a suitable new date,” he added.
