Kelly Tan stays on track for best Major finish at ANA Inspiration

Malaysian No 1 Kelly Tan remains on course for her best Major performance despite a third round 74 which dropped her to T21 place in the ANA Inspiration.

Kelly mixed two birdies with two bogeys and a double bogey at Mission Hills Country Club in California and is four-under-par after 54 holes .

In 13 previous Major starts, Kelly’s best finish was a tie for 30th in the 2016 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Sahalee Country Club. Her only previous appearance in the ANA Inspiration came in 2016 when she finished joint 50th.

Kelly tees off in today’s final round at 8.07am (Malaysian time – 11.07pm) in a three-ball with Australia’s Minjee Lee and American Kristen Gillman.

American Nelly Korda and Canada’s Brooke Henderson are tied for the lead on 12-under-par.
