After another successful year in its silver jubilee in 2018, the Carlsberg Golf Classic is back for its 26th edition with more than RM2.6 million in sponsorship value.
Teeing off across 35 golf clubs nationwide the 2019 chapter of the popular series will be staged at 35 golf clubs nationwide, a total 37 qualifying legs (including three Open Legs) will run up all the way to September 14.
By raising the bar each year, the Carlsberg Golf Classic has constantly lived up to its tagline of being “Probably The Best Golf Tournament” in terms of fun, participation and prizes … and by taking the golfing experience to a whole new level. Ice-cold Carlsberg Smooth Draught will once again be available on the course this year.
In addition to the main competition and novelty holes, participants will enjoy a host of fun contests at each leg – including the ‘Loudest POP! Challenge’ and the ‘Spin & Win’ contest with a chance to win “Probably The Best Brewery Tour” at the Carlsberg Brewery in Shah Alam.
Each qualifying leg will offer four hole-in-one prizes, namely a Titoni Master Series watch, adidas Golf ‘Dress Like A Pro’ experience, TaylorMade M6 Irons (with Tour Cart Bag) and Mars Maltage Cosmo Whisky.
The National Final in November, the hole-in-one prizes will be amped up to the following: a Mercedes-Benz A200 AMG, Mercedes-Benz E200 Avantgarde, a Titoni Master Series Dual Time watch and an Ogawa Masterdrive Massage Chair. The gross and nett winners from each club leg qualify for the National Final, where they will be joined by the top two finishers in each of the three open legs.
Carlsberg will be running a special consumer promotion during the month of July, where every purchase of two buckets of Carlsberg Smooth Draught will come with a free special edition Carlsberg Golf Cap (while stocks last).
