Lau made two birdies on the fifth and 12th holes but dropped shots on the second, fourth, 11th, 14th, 17th, and 18th holes at the challenging Le Golf National. A double bogey on the 18th, which she had birdied the previous day, added to her struggles.

Swiss golfer Morgane Metraux posted a stunning six-under-par 66, leading the field with a two-day total of eight-under-par 136. She holds a one-stroke lead over China’s Ruoning Yin, who carded a 65. New Zealand’s Lydia Ko is in sole third position, trailing the leader by three strokes.
