Malaysia’s first-time Olympian, Ashley Lau, experienced a challenging second round at the Paris Olympics Women’s Golf tournament, carding a five-over-par 77, placing her in a tied 40th position with four other players. Lau made two birdies on the fifth and 12th holes but dropped shots on the second, fourth, 11th, 14th, 17th, and 18th holes at the challenging Le Golf National. A double bogey on the 18th, which she had birdied the previous day, added to her struggles.

Swiss golfer Morgane Metraux

Swiss golfer Morgane Metraux posted a stunning six-under-par 66, leading the field with a two-day total of eight-under-par 136. She holds a one-stroke lead over China’s Ruoning Yin, who carded a 65. New Zealand’s Lydia Ko is in sole third position, trailing the leader by three strokes.
