Malaysia’s Ainil Johani Abu Bakar has finally claimed her maiden pro title via the regional Ladies Asian Golf Tour after capturing the 2013 KENDA Tire TLPGA Open which concluded today at Taipei Golf Club in Linkou, Taiwan.
The 24-year-old who turned pro in 2010 fired rounds of 73, 65 and 74 for a three-day total of four-under-par 212 to edge Taiwan’s Babe Liu by two shots, while Liu’s compatriot Lin Tzu-Chi and South Korea’s Chung Ye-na settled in joint third on one-under-par 215.
Meanwhile, rookie professional Aretha Pan Herng who made her professional debut on the LAGT last month, finished tied 46th on 16-over-par 232, together with Taiwan’s Yvonne Weng and Thailand’s Pennapa Pulsawath.
