“When we master plan a town, we harmoniously bring all the key elements together – the architecture, how the right facilities and amenities are laid out to cater to the community’s lifestyle needs, how the landscapes sit within the development and how they connect the people. When these elements come together well, the place takes on a personality such that when people live there or come to visit, they get a feel for the place and want to be a part of it,” said Ngan Chee Meng, Chief Operating Officer of Gamuda Land.
“Our golf clubs such as KPGCC and HHGCC have largely contributed to the great personality of Kota Kemuning in Shah Alam and Horizon Hills in Iskandar Puteri respectively, making them highly desirable addresses to live at or visit,” he added.
Gamuda Land Clubs Group General Manager Tang Meng Loon noted: “This is a great recognition of the hard work that the dedicated teams at KPGCC and HHGCC have put in over the years to make them Malaysia’s premier golf courses and among the best run establishments in the region. Players are assured of quality greens and layouts that are always kept in top notch condition all year round”.
Situated in the bustling township of Kota Kemuning, KPGCC’s Ross Watson-designed course has hosted numerous international tournaments including the Maybank Malaysian Open, Selangor Masters and World Cup qualifying round. Located in the fast-developing Iskandar Puteri township in Johor, HHGCC is also designed by Watson and was the venue for the Iskandar Johor Open from 2010 to 2012.
