June 30: Malaysia’s Gavin Green missed the cut by just one shot in the PGA Tour’s Quicken Loans National.
Green carded rounds of 72 and 73 at the par-70 TPC Potomac course in Maryland to lie on +5, narrowly missing out on the weekend with the cut coming at +4. The 23-year-old was playing on a sponsor’s invite in the US$7.1 million event.
Green made his PGA Tour debut in last year’s Safeway Open, missing the cut at Silverado Resort & Spa. He also qualified for the 2016 CIMB Classic at TPC Kuala Lumpur, finishing 69th.
