Green moves up to 366 in world ranking

Gavin Green’s victory in the ICTSI Manila Southwoods Championship has vaulted him more than 150 places up the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) into 366th position.

Gavin Green 2016The 22-year-old Green also sneaked into 60th place in the Olympic men’s rankings, joining Danny Chia in the top 60. The top 60 players as at July 11 will qualify for the Olympic men’s event in Rio this August.

Green claimed his third Asian Development Tour title on Saturday by two shots, closing with a 65 to triumph on 16-under-par 268 at Manila Southwoods Golf & Country Club.
