Rickie Fowler shaved an inch off his Cobra King F7+ driver to great effect during The Honda Classic, using the 43.5” driver to win by four shots. He averaged 303.9 yards off the tee and ranked T17 in driving accuracy.
After a pair of 66s the first two days at PGA National, Fowler shot a bogey-free 65 on Saturday to take a four-shot lead going into the final round. He closed with a 71 for a 12-under-par 268 total, the lowest winning score at The Honda Classic since Rory McIlroy’s 268 in 2012.
Fowler earned his fourth career PGA Tour victory at the age of 28 years, 2 months and 13 days in his 179th start.
