The 2013 Prudential Astro Masters circuit reached the halfway mark with 120 golfers, including four Singaporeans, taking to the 10th leg at A’Famosa Golf Resort in Malacca.

Held on May 18, the tournament saw Wong Loy Hin emerge the Overall Gross winner with a six-over-par 78 to seal his spot at the Grand Final in Siem Reap, Cambodia, later this year. Zalizan Osman was proclaimed the Nett winner after a four-way tie on 68 was unravelled via countback, and received a grand final ticket as well.

For their efforts, both players were presented with Santa Barbara travel bags from Ambank, 50% discount vouchers from Titoni and invitations to compete at the Nick-Faldo designed Angkor Wat Golf Resort and Siem Reap Bo Young Golf & Lake Club.

Over in the Novelty categories, Si Toh Heap Chin won the Sure-To-Win contest when his tee-shot ended up 1.3m away from the cup at hole 12 and received a 50-inch Panasonic HD 3D television.
