2016 Open champion Henrik Stenson travelled to Royal Birkdale in the futuristic Mercedes-Benz F015 to return the Claret Jug to R&A chief executive Martin Slumbers.
The F015 is a ‘Luxury In Motion’ research car designed to meet the needs of future urban living. Mercedes-Benz is the Official Patron and Official Car of The Open and provides a fleet for players, caddies, officials and VIPs throughout this week.
