TPC Kuala Lumpur is collaborating with Kechara Soup Kitchen (KSK) in the welfare organisation’s Ramadan #zerowastage project, where excess food from the club’s Dapur Muhibbah buffet dinner is distributed to the less fortunate.
Every night after the buffet comes to an end, the F&B staff of TPC Kuala Lumpur segregate the untouched excess food and pack it neatly. KSK personnel will then pick up the packed meals, which are distributed to homeless folk and poor urban families in the Klang Valley. This is the first time that TPC Kuala Lumpur is participating in the project and there are plans to keep it going beyond the fasting month of Ramadan.
TPC Kuala Lumpur’s Dapur Muhibbah buffet runs until June 22 and is priced at RM116.60 nett for visitors and RM93.30 nett for members. Located at the poolside area, the buffet offers a wide range of local delicacies with over 41 foodstalls and eight extensive buffet lines.
