Wie retakes lead at Sentosa

Singapore, March 4: Michelle Wie will take a two-shot lead into the final round of the HSBC Women’s Champions after carding a third round 67 at Sentosa Golf Club today.

The lanky American is on 14-under-par after 54 holes at Sentosa’s New Tanjong Course, with World No 1 Lydia Ko of New Zealand, World  No 2 Ariya Jutanugarn of Thailand and Korea’s Sung Hyun Park in joint second place on 12-under-par.

Two Koreans, defending champion Ha Na Jang and halfway leader Inbee Park, are a shot further adrift on 11-under-par with 18 holes to go in the US$1.5 million event.

Play was halted for one hour and 45 minutes in the early afternoon due to lightning and resumed at 2.15pm.
