The Malaysia Leg of the 2025 Oak Forest Cup Hainan Junior Golf Tour is set to return for its third edition, marking a significant shift to the southern region at Palm Resort Golf & Country Club in Senai, Johor, from 23–25 July 2025. Previously hosted at Glenmarie Golf & Country Club in 2019 and 2024, the event continues its tradition of showcasing young golfing talent.
Open to junior golfers aged 6 to 18 years, the tournament features eight divisions across boys’ and girls’ categories:
- Category A: 15–18 years
- Category B: 13–15 years
- Category C: 10–12 years
- Category D: 6–9 years
Eligible participants must be born between 23 July 2006 and 23 July 2019.
Winners from each category will secure an invitation to the 2025 Hainan Junior Golf Tour Grand Final, scheduled from 26–29 September 2025 at Oak Forest Golf Club, Xinglong, Wanning, Hainan Island. The Grand Final package includes full hospitality, covering tournament entry, accommodation, meals, and transportation.
The tournament’s official signing and launch ceremony was held on 9 May 2025 at Palm Resort Golf & Country Club, attended by key figures including Organising Chairman Mr. Jin Ang, Golf Operations Manager Mr. Malek Musa, and Hainan Golf Association’s Overseas Liaison Officer Mr. Kenny Ng.
The event was also graced by YB Wong Bor Yang, State Assemblyman of Senai, and Winnie Ng, China LPGA professional and former regular in both SportExcel and the Hainan Junior Golf Tour.
