• Location: Pebble Beach Golf Links, California.

• Par/Yardage: 71 (35, 36) / 7,075 yards.

• This will be the sixth US Open to be held at Pebble Beach, following 2010 (winner: Graeme McDowell), 2000 (Tiger Woods), 1992 (Tom Kite), 1982 (Tom Watson) and 1972 (Jack Nicklaus).

• Defending champion Brooks Koepka will be looking for his fifth Major title in the last 10 Major championships.

• If Koepka wins, he will become just the second player to win three consecutive US Opens after Willie Anderson (1903-1905).

• If Koepka wins, he will become only the fourth player to win five or more Majors before the age of 30 – joining Tiger Woods (10), Jack Nicklaus (7) and Bobby Jones (7).

• Tiger Woods returns to the US Open at Pebble Beach where he won by a record 15 strokes in 2000.

• If Woods wins, he will be just one shy of Sam Snead’s all-time PGA Tour record of 82 titles.

• Phil Mickelson will be hoping to complete the career Grand Slam at an event where he’s finished second a record six times. He is five-time winner of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am including this season.

• Last week’s RBC Canadian Open winner Rory McIlroy will be looking to emulate his 2014 accomplishment as the the last player to win on the PGA Tour the week before a Major victory (2014 WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, PGA Championship).
