SportExcel is sending a strong team to take part in this week’s 3rd China (Hainan) Junior Golf Classic, comprising reigning Penang Amateur Open men’s champion Victor Ng Yu Kai, Penang Amateur Open women’s champion Angel Hii, 2019 MSSM U15 girls’ champion Ashley Chin Yen Ling and upcoming youngster Isaac To Chern Yi.
The SportExcel contingent departs tomorrow for Haikou, Hainan, where they will play one of the finest golf courses in the world – the Lave Fields Course of Mission Hills Golf Resort Haikou.
Hosted by the Hainan Golf Association, the Category E World Amateur Golf Ranking event will feature 100 leading junior golfers from eight countries, namely Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Korea, South Africa and hosts China. The 72-hole tournament takes place on December 5-8.
