Srixon ZX Irons: Beauty Meets Power

Striking design meets explosive speed in Srixon’s new ZX Iron series, made up of the ZX5, ZX7 and ZX Utility models.
The ZX5 Iron and ZX Utility feature Srixon’s MainFrame technology, which is a variable thickness pattern milled into the back of the iron faces. The pattern is made up of grooves, channels and cavities designed by Srixon’s automated intelligent design software, which meticulously iterated the exact dimensions of each feature, thousands of times over. This state-of-the-art, proprietary process uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to create, test and improve face designs, based on the parameters set by the company’s engineers.
After two years of learning and refining, the final faces offer greatly improved COR by maximising flex at impact, resulting in more ball speed and distance.

ZX5 Irons: Fast, Soft, Powerful
The ZX5 combines pioneering ball speed technology with premium forged feel in a forgiving yet workable chassis. Razor sharp at address, the stylish iron provides forgiveness where it counts and control where needed, with a soft forged feel and explosive distance.

MainFrame: A milled pattern on the back of the face maximises COR for more ball speed and greater distance on every shot.
Progressive Grooves: The grooves in the 8-iron through the PW are sharper, narrower, and deeper for more spin and stopping power on approach shots into the green.
Tour V.T. Sole: The V-shaped soles are designed to glide smoothly through turf, even for strikes slightly behind the ball. The ZX5 features the resurgence of Srixon’s popular sole notches.
Multi-Piece Construction: Tungsten in the toe of the long and mid irons (3-7) increases MOI for more stability and forgiveness. A forged SUP10 face enhances speed and distance, while a forged 1020 Carbon Steel body absorbs vibrations for extremely soft feel.
SRP (5-9, P):
NS Pro 950GH DST – RM4,890
NS Pro Modus3 Tour 105 DST -RM5,130
Diamana ZX – RM5,250

ZX7 Irons: Compact, Soft, Workable
The ZX7 is a player’s iron that looks and feels like a blade while offering more speed and total control. A compact blade shape, narrow topline, single-piece forging and narrow sole provide the workability, feel, and aesthetics demanded by accomplished players.

Tour Cavity: Mass repositioned to the perimeter and sweet spot provides forgiveness on off-centre strikes along with remarkably soft feel.
The ZX7 also features Srixon’s popular sole notches.
Multi-Piece Construction: Tungsten in the toe of the long and mid irons (3-7) increases MOI for more stability, while the forged 1020 Carbon Steel body absorbs vibrations for extremely soft feel.
SRP (5-9, P):
NS Pro Modus3 Tour 105 DST / Dynamic Gold S200 DST – RM4,890
NS Pro Modus3 Tour 120 – RM5,130

ZX Utility: Compact, Powerful, Forgiving
The new ZX Utility is smaller, more compact and more blade-like than the previous generation. The handy club packs added power into a smaller profile, with the same level of forgiveness.

MainFrame: A milled pattern on the back of the face maximises COR for more ball speed and greater distance on every shot.
Hollow Design: The fully hollow construction increases forgiveness and makes it easier to hit pure shots with distance, control and a high launch, whether off the tee or from the fairway.
Multi-Piece Construction: Tungsten in the base lowers the CG for a higher launch. A forged SUP10 face enhances speed and distance, while a forged 1020 Carbon Steel body absorbs vibrations for extremely soft feel.
SRP:
NS Pro 950GH DST / Diamana ZX – RM1,190 per club

Premium Shafts & Grips
The ZX5 and ZX7 irons come standard with Nippon’s NS Pro Modus3 Tour shafts, which feature high tip rigidity for stability through impact. The less rigid mid and butt sections improve tempo and generate a smooth, comfortable impact feel. The ZX Utilities feature UST Mamiya Recoil 95 graphite shafts with Recoil Technology, which provides more efficient energy transfer for increased velocity and consistency.
The ZX clubs are fitted with Golf Pride’s Tour Velvet 360 grips, which have less intrusive logos along with a state-of-the-art rubber-blend compound and a non-slip pattern.

Customise and Combine
While the standard components in each ZX iron are tour-proven, a vast selection of no up-charge options is available for a truly fulfilling fitting experience. Golfers can also build combo sets to maximise the benefits of each model, according to their own preferences or following Srixon’s suggested combinations.

The Srixon ZX range will be available at golf stores in Malaysia from October 17.
