Golfing activities are permitted to resume from today, July 5, in states that have moved into Phase 2 of the Covid-19 National Recovery Plan (NRP), namely Kelantan, Pahang, Perlis, Perak and Terengganu.

The Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) confirmed this in an advisory sent out today, noting that the updated Mandatory Standard Operating Procedures (MSOPs) must be strictly adhered to. These include single buggy usage, a limit of 50% on the total flight capacity per session, and a 50% limit on driving range bay capacity with only persons registered to play allowed to remain at the range . Changing rooms are to remain closed and golf competitions are not allowed.
