Shahrifuddin secures third PGM title in a row at the PGM Port Dickson Championship

Shahrifuddin Ariffin carded rounds of 68-69-67 for a total of 12-under par 204 to win the RM120,000 PGM Port Dickson Championship. The 23-year-old professional who pocketed RM21,000 had earlier won the PGM Maybank Championship at Saujana and the PGM Kia Championship at Glenmarie. Shahrifuddin plans to use his earnings from his three wins for the upcoming Japan Tour Q-School.

Sukree Othman, who shared the second-round lead with Shahrifuddin, posted three rounds of 69-68-69 for a total of 10-under par 206 to finish in second place, two strokes ahead of Kim Leum Kwang and Amir Nazrin, who finished joint third.

Sasidaran posted a final round 70 to finished six-under in fifth place. Sea Games team gold medallist Marcus Lim who finished five-under for joint sixth position, won the best amateur title.

Rookie pro Ervin Chang posted a final round 70 to finish three-under in joint eighth position with Muhazim Bakhtiar, Kemarol Baharin and Danny Chia.
