The first-ever concept store-in-store Callaway boutique in South East Asia opens at Isetan Gardens Mall, Mid Valley

Callaway Golf Malaysia recently opened of its first-ever Callaway concept store in South East Asia (SEA) at the second floor of Isetan at the Gardens Mall in Mid Valley Kuala Lumpur.

The Callaway boutique is the only golf brand concept store in Malaysia that is merchandised and equipped with the full range of Callaway products. The boutique features Callaway’s range of apparel from Japan, the Travis Mathew apparel range, full range of latest Callaway equipment and the family of Odyssey putters.

Kevin Yeap, Country Manager of Callaway Malaysia shared,” This is our first ever Callaway concept store-in-store in South East Asia. The objective of this Callaway boutique is to create a new level of shopping experience for new customers to fully experience the brand’s range of products and as well for the existing Callaway brand loyalist. The Callaway apparel that we feature in this boutique is Callaway’s Japan line of apparel as well as many other Callaway Japanese domestic market products that is not found in any other stores.”

Yeap added,” We also showcase the full range of Travis Mathew line of apparel in this boutique. As some may not be aware Travis Mathew is part of the Callaway family and it’s founded and based in Southern California. Travis Mathew is an established and progressive men’s sportswear brand producing its own line of lifestyle wear and accessories. Travis Mathew views golf, tennis and fitness as part of a bigger picture – an active and fun lifestyle requiring clothes that prioritise both style and performance. Over the past several years, Travis Mathew has been leading the way in quality and active wear design.”

Yeap shared, “The pandemic had led to supply chain issues around the world and especially here in Malaysia, which was the reason why we did not open the concept store earlier, and with the delay we were able to shop and secure a more ideal location. This is part of our plans to further strengthen the Callaway’s brand presence and positioning here in the South East Asia markets. As you already known Callaway is one of the leading brands in the world but the presence here is Asia has been lacking, hence now, you will see the expansion of Callaway boutique to key markets in SEA such as Singapore and Thailand. With concept stores like this, you can expect more aggressive plans for Callaway apparel and the Travis Mathew line of apparel as we can feature a wider range of the brand’s product and allow golfers to have a full Callaway brand experience once they step into the store.”
