OneOn Golf successfully launched its golf booking platform and business matching services at the Sungai Long Golf & Country Club with a full house event participated and witnessed by more than 100 golfers and invited guests.
The event held on the 26th October 2022 started with an 18 holes round with lots of novelties prizes and activities that kept the golfers trying to perform at their best despite the early morning rain.
OneOn Golf is spearheaded by founder and CEO, Martial Loh, a golf enthusiast and businessman, who sees an opportunity in the booming golf industry by providing a golf booking platform for regular golfers to book a round of golf with Golf Mate(s) and Golf Professional(s).
“OneOn Golf allows any golfers to book a round of golf with our Golf Mates whether they need someone to accompany them to play or to make up a foursome. Golf Mates are made up of influencers, celebrities or anyone who can provide a great experience to other golfers when playing a round of golf and Golf Mates are recommended to have a registered handicap with MGA” quoted Martial Loh.
Although Golf Mates can be made up of any golfers, there are also Golf Mates that are selected by OneOn Golf and are groomed and trained by our panel of teaching professionals. In the Klang Valley, OneOn Golf has appointed Pro Aaron Ng who is based at MST Golf The Gardens Mall. Pro Nick Ang, and Pro Johnny Tan for the Northern region are based in Penang and Pro Paul Lim for the Southern region is based in Johor.
“Golfers will be able to engage golf professionals (members of local and foreign PGAs) to play a round of golf with them as currently, you will only get a chance to do so if you happened to meet them through mutual friends or by chance. They can select the professionals that they wish to play with and these professionals can be touring or teaching professionals. In the near future, you can book lessons through our platform for online or physical private lessons,” said Martial Loh.
He added, “We are revolutionising the golf experience for golfers and it also opens up the opportunity for Golf Mates and Golf Professionals to be compensated for their time spent on the golf course and what’s unique is that their services will not be limited to rounds on the golf course but also in indoor golf simulation centres. Indoor Golf Simulation businesses are mushrooming and this trend seems to be a popular choice for beginners, ladies and even seasoned golfers as it cuts down the time spent engaging in this great sports.”

The OneOn Golf launching event ended with prize giving and the highlight was a Hole-In-One achieved on the 14th hole by Mr. Yap YL, who was also the runners- up in the System 36 Stableford tournament.
OneOn Golf will be organising monthly events that will be scheduled until the end of 2023. There are plans to introduce the platform to other countries in South East Asia in very near future. Part of OneOn Golf’s objective is to promote Malaysia’s Golf Tourism to the world.
