Nicholas Fung

Nicholas Fung finished his 2022 season by winning the RM120,000 PGM Danau Championship, his third PGM Tour title of the year. The Sabah-born pro won the PGM Pahang Championship in July and the PGM Tiara Melaka Championship in November.

Nicholas and Fakrul Akmal finished regulation play at 6-under 208 carding identical 71s taking the tournament into a sudden death playoff. Nicholas birdied the first playoff hole to claim victory as well as the RM21,000 prize cheque at the season-ending tournament.

It would have been a three-way playoff if r. Nachimuthu had not missed his short putt on the final hole. He finished at 5-under 209. Nateeshwar Ganesh won the best amateur at two over par 215.
