Odyssey Golf recently launched of the new Versa putter line, and the new Tri-Hot 5K putter combining the newest generation of the Red Stroke Lab shaft with a wide array of pleasing, high-performance head shapes.
Odyssey Versa Putter
Alignment is one of the most essential variables in putting, yet it’s often overlooked. On a ten-foot putt, one degree off line is the difference between a make and a miss. Many of the best putting minds in the game have told Odyssey Golf how critical Versa is to performance, including Tour Pros and the world-renowned instructor Phil Kenyon. They know this technology works, and they’ve strongly encouraged them to bring this design to golfers in a reimagined profile.
Odyssey Golf took their feedback to heart, so now the patented Versa’s alignment is back and better than ever. This high contrast alignment technology highlights the proper face angle from address to impact, allowing you to align the putter throughout your stroke. The black and white contrast allows you to key in on the linear designs while highlighting face angle, for a design that can benefit any level of player.
The line-up features a blend of blades and mallets with the famous White Hot insert. The original White Hot formulation offered incredible feel, sound, and performance in one exceptional two-part urethane insert. The new Versa also features the game-changing Red Stroke Lab shaft. The newest generation of our proven multi-material Stroke Lab shaft features even better performance. Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Putter
Odyssey Golf developed the Tri-Hot 5K with an audacious goal; to create a new putter construction for a complete shift in performance. Focusing on blade designs, the CG positioning has been moved forward. Odyssey Golf has leveraged new materials in ways that have never been realised in a putter. Stainless steel, tungsten, and 6061 aircraft grade aluminium have all been meticulously crafted to re-invent what a blade can accomplish.
For the next goal, they wanted to achieve that same goal with mallets. Using the proven Tri-Hot formula, Odyssey Golf had significantly raised the head’s inertia while also moving the CG forward. The result is a more forgiving and better performing mallet. By applying large amounts of tungsten, they have developed an inertia level exceeding 5000 IZZ for incredible forgiveness, all while moving the CG closer to the face.
This combination promotes improved performance in speed control, spin control, speed consistency on off-centre hits and a much tighter downrange dispersion versus conventional blades. They have changed how a putter is constructed and reinvented how a putter can perform.
