The Porsche Singapore Classic field boasts the likes of defending champion Ockie Strydom, 2019 Open champion Shane Lowry and 15-time DP World Tour winner Paul Casey, but these stars will not be the only highlight at the Laguna National Golf Resort Club this week. Visitors to the event, which has welcomed Porsche as its new Title Partner this year, can enjoy a multitude of entertaining activities at a bustling Spectator Village. There are also chances to win various attractive prizes – with a Porsche Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid arguably the most enticing one.
More offerings have been added to the roster at the Spectator Village this year, including an exciting new twist on an old favourite normally called Closest to the Pin – the Porsche Panamera Shootout Qualifier. The top three qualifiers will get the opportunity to join the Porsche Panamera Shootout finals on Sunday after play, and the first qualifier who makes an ace on Hole 17 of the Classic Course wins the Porsche Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid.
Spectators can commemorate their visit with a photo at the Porsche Singapore Classic’s official welcome backdrop, where a Porsche Art Car will be displayed.
Other highlights include Par-Tee Time, a timed game where participants balance 18 balls on 18 tees, the Birdie Blitz Rewards claw machine, Leadbetter Golf Academy Kids Putting Challenge, and the Choose Your Man interactive display map for fans to show support for their favourite players competing in the Porsche Singapore Classic.
There are also plenty of opportunities for spectators to show off their creativity. Aspiring artists of all ages can display their work on a Doodle Wall, while those who want a memento of their drawings can visit the Be A Baller station and have their artwork immortalised on a collectible golf ball. The official merchandise shop is sure to be busy, featuring exclusive Porsche Singapore Classic logo wear as well as the Shisheido global suncare chalet for visitors to top up their sunscreen before heading out on course.
A multitude of food and beverage options are available throughout the day, as the action at Laguna National will continue even after play has concluded.
