Malaysian Golf Association unveils NJDP elite players for 2024 and welcomes sponsors

The Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) announced the selection of the National Junior Development Program (NJDP) Elite Team for the year 2024/2025. This year’s line-up showcases talents who have demonstrated skill and dedication to the sport of golf. The MGA is committed to nurturing these young athletes, providing them with the opportunities and support needed to excel both nationally and internationally.

The NJDP Elite Team for 2024 features a diverse group of athletes who have achieved significant milestones in their young careers. Among the boys, Wan Danial leads with impressive credentials, including a World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) of 671 and notable victories such as the Champion MSSM U18 2023. The team also includes rising stars like Muhammad Adif Haikal Md Hazan, with a WAGR of 1222, and Muhammad Ajmal Amin, who boasts a WAGR of 1907 among others.

On the girls’ side, Alya Afza Hazari stands out with a WAGR of 1010 and significant achievements including the Champion MSSM U18 2023. She is joined by talents such as Ngo Yi Belle and Andrea Chin Yen Xing, who have shown remarkable potential and skill in various competitions.

The full list of selected players for the NJDP Elite Team 2024/2025 highlights the breadth and depth of young golfing talent in Malaysia, setting the stage for a promising future in the sport.

This year the endeavour is supported by  Colla Niaga Sdn Bhd, Reneuco Berhad, 1EBC Sdn Bhd, Crestlink, Champions Golf, Golf Improvement Centre and Progripp. These organisations have demonstrated a commitment to nurturing the next generation of Malaysian golfers, and their support enables the NJDP to provide training, development programs, and competitive opportunities for our young athletes.
