Mercedes-Benz Malaysia recently hosted the MercedesTrophy 2024 National Final Malaysia, bringing this year’s celebrated tournament to a close. The MercedesTrophy, with its 34-year legacy, stands as a highly acclaimed amateur golf series that extends across more than 60 countries.

This year’s tournament commenced over four qualifying rounds with the first three taking place at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club and the concluding round at the scenic Forest City Golf Resort in Johor Bahru. The leading five contenders from each qualifying round progressed to the National Final Malaysia at The ELS Club Desaru Coast, a stage set for an exceptional display of skill and perseverance. The MercedesTrophy 2024 National Final Malaysia culminated with 3 winners, one from each category. Mr. Azuan Dahli emerged as the winner for Category A, Mr. Hisyamuddin Salleh secured the win for Category B, and Dato’ Mohd Nakir Shayuki won Category C. Datin Zainon Ahmad walked home with an OPPO Find N3 and Mr. Richard Chua won an EPOS Sportive Gent watch in the lucky draw.
The tournament presented an array of exciting prizes and exclusive merchandise, headlined by the esteemed Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ 4MATIC as the Hole-In-One prize. Mr. Wilson Lim Wee Seng who clinched the Drive to the Major title received a once-in-a-lifetime experience with an all-inclusive trip to The Open 2024, happening from the 17th to the 22nd of July 2024.
The top three finalists from the National Final Malaysia were presented the grand prize of an all-expense-paid trip to the MercedesTrophy 2024 World Final set to occur from the 29th of September to the 3rd of October 2024. The highly anticipated World Final will once again be hosted at the luxurious 5-star superior hotel ‘Der Öschberghof’, situated on the outskirts of the Black Forest, with picturesque views of Lake Constance and Switzerland. Together, the finalists will form a team of three representing Malaysia at the World Final.
