Grand prize winner Alfred Johny
MST Golf, in partnership with Under Armour (UA), hosted the third annual Under Armour Golf Day at the Tropicana Golf & Country Resort on 20th June 2024. The tournament brought together 97 golfers to showcase their skills, celebrate camaraderie and a fun golfing experience on the course. The highlight of the Stableford tournament was a chance to win prizes worth up to RM27,800 featuring Under Armour apparel, accessories and cash vouchers.

The UA Golf Day comprised members of MST Golf’s ilovegolf loyalty programme, UA patrons, invited college students, and guests from Thailand, Indonesia and South Korea. Each participant received a generous goodie bag which included an Under Armour Golf sack pack, Under Armour cap, Under Armour snapback, MST Golf Arena Tech Bay voucher and a sleeve of TaylorMade Golf Balls.
Following 18 holes, Alfred Johny emerged as the champion with 38 Stableford points, clinching RM4,000 worth of UA products. Park Jun Hyeok secured the runner-up position, receiving an Under Armour voucher worth RM3,000, also with 38 points and winning on countback over college student Tan Kheng Yew, who received an RM2,500 Under Armour voucher.
The UA Golf Day also included two novelty contests: Nearest to Pin and Longest Drive. Gan Zi Yang won the Nearest to Pin contest with a shot landing just 2 inches from the hole, while Gavin Fung claimed the Longest Drive contest with an impressive 246-meter drive. Both received Under Armour merchandise valued up to RM556 for their achievements. Additionally, Kim Teresa dominated the ladies’ category, showcasing her exceptional golfing prowess with her win.
