HSBC India has become the title partner of the Legends Tour’s first event in India, being played at Jaypee Greens Golf Course at the end of August.
The HSBC India Legends Championship hosted by Jeev Milkha Singh is also sanctioned by the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) and will see 10 Indian golfers taking part in the tournament, including the host as well as fellow Legends Tour member Jyoti Randhawa.
The tournament will be played at Jaypee Greens Golf Course in Greater Noida, a Greg Norman designed course, from 29th August to 1st September.
Jeev Milkha Singh said: “It’s going to be a big boost to Indian golf. It is really special for me, and I’m very excited that I’m going to be hosting and playing this event at Jaypee Greens.
“Golf is the fastest growing sport in our country today. There are a lot of promising young players coming out – we have a great junior program, a very good professional tour. The way things are going, we’ll be seeing a lot more professional golfers coming out of India who’ll be playing on the world stage and making the country proud.”
This event will further act to put India on the world stage within golf, this is something which is greatly enhanced by having a title sponsor of the calibre of HSBC India.

As part of their agreement to become Title Partner for the HSBC India Legends Championship hosted by Jeev Milkha Singh, HSBC India will be widely seen from the new tournament logo and from on course signage and branding. They will also be a major part of the prize giving and trophy ceremony at the conclusion of the event and be seen across the Legends Tour broadcast highlights as well as digital and social media promotions.
