Leonian Malaysia officially launched its largest flagship store at Wisma Genting, marking a significant expansion in the country following the recent opening of the Leonian pro shop in Sabah. The new flagship store spans over 6,000 square feet and offers a distinctive, exhibition-style shopping experience featuring a wide selection of top golf brands.
The launch ceremony was attended by Frankie Choo, Director of Leonian Malaysia, along with Kenya Shidara, President of Golf SEA of Leonian Group of Companies. In his opening remarks, Choo expressed pride in the new store, saying, “This is our first and largest flagship store here in Wisma Genting, and the first in Peninsular Malaysia to showcase our rebranded name, Leonian. We see this as the beginning of broader Leonian-branded expansion in Malaysia.”
The flagship store offers an extensive range of golf equipment, including the latest products from major brands and a diverse selection of pre-owned clubs sourced directly from Japan. The store also features premium golf apparel, including exclusive Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) items like Callaway apparel, which is available only at the Wisma Genting location. A golf simulator, club-fitting area, and a selection of high-end custom fitting irons by brands such as Miura and Artisan provide additional appeal.
The store’s design concept, led by Leonian’s internal team in collaboration with brand partners, aims to create a cohesive and inviting flow, enhancing the shopping experience.
“Each shop-in-shop area has been carefully positioned to create a seamless shopping journey, inspired by Japanese retail design for our hard goods section,” Choo noted.
