The Maybank Championship returns to the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) from 30 October to 2 November 2025, promising an elevated experience that fuses world-class golf with ASEAN culture, creativity, and community spirit.
Now in its third edition, the region’s premier golf event welcomes a star-studded international field led by World No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul of Thailand, defending champion Ruoning Yin of China, and 2023 winner Celine Boutier of France. They join a powerhouse line-up featuring Grace Kim, Miyu Yamashita, Lottie Woad, twin sisters Akie and Chisato Iwai, Angel Yin, A Lim Kim, Rio Takeda, and Olympic gold medallist Lydia Ko, making it one of the most competitive stops on the 2025 LPGA calendar.
Flying the Malaysian flag are Mirabel Ting, Ashley Lau, Kelly Tan, Liyana Durisic, and Genevieve Ling, who will battle for the prestigious Tiger Trophy and a share of the US$3 million purse, the richest in women’s golf in the region.
Also joining the field are the top-five ASEAN Qualifier finishers from Thailand, namely Kritchanya Kaopattanaskul (amateur), Achiraya Sriwong (amateur), Namo Luangnitikul (amateur), Cholcheva Wongras and Kan Bunnabodee showcasing the Championship’s commitment to regional opportunity and unity.

Maybank Village
Beyond the fairways, visitors can explore Maybank Village, a lively celebration of ASEAN heritage featuring the Maybank Women Eco-Weavers showcase—an initiative empowering over 2,000 women across the region through traditional textile weaving.
True to its purpose-driven spirit, the Championship continues its “Save a Heart” campaign with Institut Jantung Negara (IJN), raising funds to provide life-saving cardiac treatment for children across ASEAN. Fans can contribute through the Maybank Championship Umbrella Donation Truck, with proceeds going directly to the cause, or by supporting the Balai Seni Art Series (BSAS) exhibition featuring emerging Malaysian artists.
The event also celebrates sporting excellence beyond golf, with a special appearance by national track cycling hero Shah Firdaus, who will meet fans and share his journey of perseverance and dedication.

For families, the MAE Kids Zone offers fun, educational financial literacy activities, while food lovers can enjoy local favourites at the Sama-Sama Lokal Bistro, where cashless payments via the MAE app or Maybank Cards are encouraged.
From the greens to the galleries, the Maybank Championship 2025 promises an unforgettable celebration of unity in motion—a shared story of sport, culture, and purpose that continues to inspire across ASEAN.
