
Malaysia’s Edven Ying fired a final-round 7-under-par, to win the 53rd Thailand Open, finishing with a total score of 20-under-par and pocketing 1,050,000 baht. The season-ending event of the 2025 All Thailand Golf Tour was held at the par-71 Riverdale Golf Club in Pathum Thani Province.
The 53rd Thailand Open, offering a prize purse of 7 million baht is the country’s oldest and was held from 4–7 December 2025.
In the final round, Edven Ying, who was one of five joint leaders after the third round, opened with a bogey at the first hole before making seven birdies to close with a 6-under-par round, securing victory at 20-under-par. Noppharat Phanichphol (64) and Pavit Tangkamolprasert (67) finished joint runners-up at 18-under-par.
Edven Ying became the second Malaysian golfer to win on the tour, following Amer Nazrin, who won the Boonyu Ruenkit Championship 2023. Ying received 1,050,000 baht and the Royal Trophy of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, while Noppharat and Pavit each earned 525,000 baht.
“I am very happy with this victory. I love Thailand and I will come back to defend my title next year,” said Edven Ying, who played his sixth event on the All Thailand Tour in 2025.
Organised by the Golf Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage in collaboration with the All Thailand Golf Tour, the Professional Golfers’ Association of Thailand and MBK Public Company Limited, the championship was supported by Singha Corporation and other partners. Aside of the prize money, the winner also received world ranking points.
