Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) officially launched its 2026 PGM Tour calendar at Seri Selangor Golf Club, setting the tone for what will be the Tour’s sixteenth season for professional golf in the country. The 2026 calendar will feature a total of 19 tournaments, with 10 events for the men and nine for the ladies, reflecting PGM’s continued commitment to strengthening competitive opportunities across both fields.
A key highlight of the calendar is the women’s major tournament scheduled for October 2026, to be sponsored and hosted by Mines Resort & Golf Club. The event will offer a prize purse of RM200,000 and will be open to all Malaysian women golfers, including both professionals and amateurs.
Across the season, tournaments will be staged at a diverse lineup of venues nationwide, including Seri Selangor Golf Club, Kelab Golf Perkhidmatan Awam, Saujana Golf & Country Club, Bukit Jawi Golf Resort, Royal Pekan Golf Club, Royal Pahang Golf Club, Port Dickson Golf & Country Club, Tiara Melaka Golf & Country Club, Mines Resort & Golf Club and Palm Resort Golf & Country Club.
PGM also reaffirmed its close collaboration with the Malaysian Golf Association (MGA), particularly in providing competitive pathways for talented amateurs. Several amateur golfers already hold PGM Tour cards, enabling them to gain valuable experience by competing alongside professionals in PGM-sanctioned events.

The calendar launch followed the conclusion of the 2026 PGM Qualifying School, which was held over three days at Seri Selangor Golf Club. A total of 59 golfers competed for PGM Tour cards, with strong performances earning full playing privileges for the upcoming season. Those who successfully qualified included Pang Hee Jie, Sasidaran M, Aiden Kei, Allycia Gan, Zia Iqmal, Aeron Faizal and Sameer Raj, a mix of professionals and amateurs who impressed under pressure.
PGM also took the opportunity to recognise excellence from the previous season, honouring Edven Ying as the 2025 PGM Tour Order of Merit winner in the men’s category, while Liyana Durisic claimed the top honour for the ladies.
As PGM looks ahead to 2026, the organisation reiterated its mission to grow the professional game in Malaysia, crediting sustained sponsorship and strong patronage as essential to raising standards, deepening the talent pool and ensuring the continued progress of Malaysian professional golf.
