Ervin Chang fired a bogey-free eight-under-par 64 to take a three-shot lead after the opening round of the PGM Port Dickson Closed Championship 2026 at Port Dickson Golf & Country Club.
Chang carded eight birdies at the first, fourth, fifth, eighth, ninth, 12th, 14th and 18th holes, finishing at eight-under-par (-8).
He leads Jaydon Pang, who opened with a five-under-par 67, while Danial Faidz and Azmi Hashim are a further stroke back at four-under-par 68.

In the Ladies Championship, Liyana Durisic and Ng Jing Xuen share the lead at one-under-par 71. Pang Hee Jie and Jocelyn Chee are tied for third at one-over-par 73.
Despite dark clouds and lightning earlier in the day, the weather cleared to sunny conditions as play progressed.
The championship, hosted by Port Dickson Golf & Country Club, offers a RM180,000 prize purse for the men’s event and RM30,000 for the Ladies Championship.
