Atlanta Drive GC players
World No. 2 Jeeno Thitikul of Thailand, major champions Ruoning Yin of China and Yuka Saso of Japan, South Korea’s Ina Yoon, and Japanese twins Aki and Chizzy Iwai are among the 25 players confirmed for the inaugural season of the Women’s TGL (WTGL).
The new women’s team golf league, created by TMRW Sports in partnership with the LPGA, will feature five teams competing at the custom-built SoFi Centre in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, from November.
The 25-player field boasts a combined total of 112 LPGA Tour victories and 15 major championships, with eight players ranked in the world’s top 15.
Thitikul, the 2025 Rolex Player of the Year and a 10-time LPGA Tour winner, will represent Motor City Golf Club alongside Yin, Lexi Thompson, two-time major champion Brooke Henderson, and Albane Valenzuela.
Boston Common Golf players
“I’m very excited to be part of the inaugural season of WTGL. The team format, fast pace and technology can introduce golf to a new generation of fans while giving them a fresh way to see our personalities,” said Thitikul.
“I love the mix of talent and personalities on our team. I’m especially excited to play with Ruoning again. We won a team event together in Michigan in 2024, so we already know how to have fun and compete together.”
Yin, who won her sixth LPGA Tour title on Sunday, also welcomed the new format.
“WTGL is a great opportunity for me and for women’s golf. I have always enjoyed team competition, and this format will give us a fun way to showcase our games and personalities while introducing new fans to the sport,” she said.
Saso, a two-time U.S. Women’s Open champion, will play for Atlanta Drive GC alongside Charley Hull, Nataliya Guseva, Andrea Lee and Minjee Lee.
“I am excited that WTGL will now give LPGA players the opportunity to compete in that environment and bring our own personalities and style to the format,” said Saso, who followed the men’s TGL after it was launched by TMRW Sports.
Yoon, who has recorded two major top-five finishes this season, joins Boston Common Golf alongside Céline Boutier, Megan Khang, Lottie Woad and Chizzy Iwai.
Los Angeles Golf Club players
The Korean said the new league held special significance for her after she was introduced to golf through indoor screen golf with her father.
“Competing in the inaugural season of WTGL now feels like a full-circle moment, and I am excited to share it with fans in Korea and around the world,” Yoon said.
The five teams will compete in a round-robin regular season before advancing to single-elimination semifinals and a best-of-three final. Three players from each five-member roster will compete in every match, placing an emphasis on team selection and strategy.
Matches are designed to last approximately two hours and will combine fast-paced team competition with mic’d-up players, shot-clock pressure, real-time data and the strategic use of the Hammer.

“The five teams will go head-to-head throughout November and December, creating a consistent spotlight for women’s team golf and giving fans a new way to see the players’ personalities, competitive instincts and decision-making as teammates,” said Rufus Hack, president of golf at TMRW Sports.
The inaugural teams are Atlanta Drive GC, Boston Common Golf, Los Angeles Golf Club, Motor City Golf Club and New York Golf Club.
