The 2026 Hana Financial Group Championship will welcome a stacked international field to The Heaven Country Club from September 17–20, led by major champions, LPGA Tour winners and Korea’s in-form KLPGA Tour stars.
New Zealand’s Lydia Ko headlines the field with the 29-year-old seeking her first victory at her sponsor’s championship. The Hana Financial Group-sponsored player has won 23 times on the LPGA Tour and is the youngest-ever inductee into the LPGA Hall of Fame.
Australia’s Minjee Lee, another Hana Financial Group-sponsored player, returns after finishing runner-up in last year’s tournament following a playoff. An 11-time LPGA Tour winner, Lee will pursue her first KLPGA Tour title at The Heaven Country Club.
Japan’s Aki Iwai and Chizzy Iwai will also aim to bring a compelling storyline to the championship, with both sisters winning on the LPGA Tour last year and becoming the first twin sisters in LPGA history to each record a victory. Their shared appearance adds further international strength to the field.
Former World No. 1 Yani Tseng of Chinese Taipei also returns to the storied event with which she shares a special history. The youngest player ever to win five major championships, Tseng captured the 2011 LPGA Hana Bank Championship—the predecessor to the Hana Financial Group Championship.
Korea’s Dayeon Lee, meanwhile, will defend the title she won last year. A two-time Hana Financial Group Championship winner, Lee comes into the tournament after winning the Aurora World Championship earlier this season and will aim to become a three-time champion.
Thailand’s Jaravee Boonchant, a Hana Financial Group-sponsored player, will seek another landmark result. Earlier this year, she won the E1 Charity Open to become the first Thai player to capture a KLPGA Tour event, and she now targets a second victory of the season at her sponsor’s tournament.
The Korean contingent includes Hyunkyung Park, one of the KLPGA Tour’s leading players and an eight-time tour winner, alongside Kyorim Seo, who has emerged as one of the season’s standout performers with four victories already in 2026.
In its eighth edition this year, the Hana Financial Group Championship features an elite international field and the largest prize purse on the KLPGA Tour (KRW 1.5 billion, with KRW 270 million to the winner).
