The Singapore Open will enter a new chapter in 2027 after Deutsche Bank was confirmed as title sponsor and the DP World Tour announced its return as a joint-sanctioning partner.
The Deutsche Bank Singapore Open will be staged on The Serapong Course at Sentosa Golf Club from 15 to 18 April as part of a multi-year agreement running until 2029.
The tournament will be jointly sanctioned by the Asian Tour and DP World Tour, marking the return of the latter for the first time since the event was co-sanctioned by the two tours from 2009 to 2012.
It will also be included in the DP World Tour’s Asian Swing, the third of five Global Swings forming the opening phase of the 2027 Race to Dubai.
The partnership marks Deutsche Bank’s first involvement with Singapore’s national open. The bank previously served as title partner of the Deutsche Bank Players’ Championship of Europe from 1995 to 2007.

First played in 1961, the Singapore Open has attracted several leading international players throughout its history.
Australian Adam Scott holds the record with three victories, while former champions also include Spain’s Sergio Garcia, England’s Ian Poulter and Italy’s Matteo Manassero.
Asian Tour Order of Merit winners Jeev Milkha Singh of India, Thailand’s Thaworn Wiratchant and Jazz Janewattananond, and Myanmar’s Kyi Hla Han have also lifted the trophy.

The tournament returned to Sentosa Golf Club this year for the first time since 2022, with South Korea’s Jeongwoo Ham completing a wire-to-wire victory to become only the second Korean golfer to win the title.
The Asian Tour has maintained a relationship with Sentosa Golf Club since 2005.

The tournament’s return to the DP World Tour schedule follows the formation of a new partnership involving the DP World Tour, Asian Tour and PGA Tour.
DP World Tour CEO Guy Kinnings said the agreement would support the future growth of the national championship.

The Singapore Golf Association will continue to sanction the tournament as the custodian of the country’s national open.
