adidas CodeChaos PrimeBlue, golf’s first ever sustainable collection

adidas’ journey to end plastic waste arrives on the fairways, with the new CodeChaos Primeblue range, comprising apparel and footwear made from upcycled plastic waste, a first in golf.

The more sustainable collection is made from adidas’ new Primeblue material, constructed in part with Parley Ocean Plastic. This upcycled plastic waste is intercepted on remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and shorelines, preventing it from polluting oceans. It is then turned into high performance polyester yarn used in apparel and footwear.

Along with two polos and shorts for men, and a sleeveless polo and skort for women, the collection includes the limited edition Primeblue golf shoes, designed from adidas’ new CodeChaos silhouette.

Featuring the brand’s trademark 3-Stripes, the lightweight golf shoe has a textile upper, fitted with the responsive full-length Boost cushioning providing all-around comfort, while spikeless rubber outsole with Traxion delivers a stable, locked-in feeling, enabling golfers to grip fairways and greens without distraction.
