adidas Golf’s new Tour360 XT-SL 2 range builds on the popular franchise’s reputation for combining tour-level performance with spikeless versatility, highlighted by two ground-breaking models – the first spikeless Tour360 for women and a hydrophobic textile option.
Featuring a more athletic and sporty design, each model of the second generation Tour360 XT-SL range incorporates the latest technology and innovations from adidas.
A new outsole TPU top plate wraps up higher in key areas like the lateral heel for improved lateral stability and control during the swing. Increased midfoot stability is generated through forging of the saddle area and a new asymmetric 360 wrap (fully exposed on the lateral side and tucked internally on the medial).
“The Tour360 XT-SL was the first ever spikeless model of our flagship footwear franchise and since we are always looking to lead and push the game forward, we challenged ourselves to take it to another level,” said Masun Denison, global footwear director for adidas Golf.
“Technology and innovation are at the heart of every shoe we make and the Tour360 XT-SL 2 not only improves upon key features like stability, support and comfort, but now incorporates a hydrophobic and waterproof engineered textile upper as a new silhouette in the range. This is also a historic moment for Tour360 as we’re introducing this new spikeless offering in a women’s model for the first time, ensuring all consumers have a chance to wear this incredible footwear.”
The spikeless textile model, Tour360 XT-SL Tex, provides tour-level stability, comfort and performance. The hydrophobic textile upper comes with a one-year waterproof warranty.
