Amir Nazrin carded a three-under-par 69 to open a two-shot lead heading into the final round of the PGM Royal Pahang Closed Championship.
Amir sits atop the leaderboard at nine-under-par after a round of six birdies and three bogeys. He leads first-round co-leader and close friend Ervin Chang by two strokes.
Malcolm Ting and defending champion Edven Ying, who is also an ambassador for Royal Pahang Golf Club, are tied for third on five-under-par, four shots off the lead. Amateur Rizq Adam Rohizam is tied for sixth on three-under-par.
Durriyah Damian
In the Ladies Championship, Durriyah Damian carded a bogey-free round to move into a share of the lead with Zulaikah Nasser at even par. Amateur Foong Xi Yu is two shots back at two-over-par.
Blustery conditions throughout the day added to the challenge at Kelab Golf DiRaja Pahang, with players facing difficult club selection and demanding approach shots.
A total of 58 players made the cut for the final round.
The PGM Royal Pahang Closed Championship 2026 offers a prize purse of RM180,000, while the Ladies Championship carries RM30,000. The tournament is being held at the par-72 Kelab Golf DiRaja Pahang.
