The Bridgestone ASEAN Amateur Open 2025 rolled into Johor for the second leg of its nationwide tour, drawing 136 amateur golfers to Tanjong Puteri Golf & Resort for a competitive day of golf.
Held on one of Johor’s most picturesque courses, the 18-hole Stableford-format event marked the first of three tournaments scheduled in the state during the Malaysian stretch of the regional amateur series. Participants competed for category honours as well as a coveted spot in the Grand Final, set to take place at Templer Park Country Club on October 31.

Adding to the excitement were five hole-in-one prizes, a series of lucky draw giveaways, and goodie bags featuring over RM500 worth of Bridgestone-branded items including t-shirts, golf balls, gloves, and caps.

The tournament wrapped up with a lively prize presentation ceremony. Standout performances included Nett Champion Yar Zar and Gross Champion Mohd Afiff Hadief, while a number of players went home with lucky draw prizes.
The series now moves to Templer Park Country Club in Selangor on July 11, followed by events at Miri Golf Club in Sarawak on July 26 and Permaipura Golf & Country Club in Kedah on August 3.
