Carlsberg Golf Classic returns for its 33rd year, bringing golfers together across the nation

Carlsberg Golf Classic (CGC) returns for its 33rd edition, continuing its long-standing presence in Malaysia’s golfing calendar. Running from July to October 2026, this year’s tournament features 30 qualifying rounds across the country, alongside more than RM2.7 million in prizes throughout the tournament season.

The campaign kicked off on 4th July with its opening leg at Sungai Petani Golf Club, setting the stage for competitive play nationwide. This year’s qualifying rounds will be held at 30 golf clubs nationwide, including 16 in the Central region, three in the Northern region, seven in the Southern region, and four in East Malaysia. The qualifying Nett & Gross winners from these rounds will advance to the National Finals, with further details to be announced in due course.

Beyond the competition, no round of golf is complete without a refreshing Carlsberg brew. Throughout the tournament season, participants can enjoy a selection of their favourite brews served across participating clubs, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, Carlsberg Smooth Draught, Connor’s, 1664 Blanc, as well as the non-alcoholic brew Somersby Apple 0.0. Whether celebrating a great round, reconnecting with fellow golfers, or simply unwinding after a day on the course, these refreshing beverages add to the camaraderie and memorable #BestWithCarlsberg moments that have become synonymous with CGC.

Adding to the excitement, CGC 2026 features prizes worth over RM2.7 million across the qualifying rounds and the National Finals. Leading the lineup is Auto Bavaria (BMW), which offers golfers at the National Finals the chance to win the coveted Hole-in-One prizes, including two BMW 320i models valued at RM293,471 each.

Complementing the lineup are adidas, TaylorMade, and Garmin, which continue to bring a strong mix of performance-driven rewards by offering participants a range of prizes throughout the qualifying rounds and the National Finals, designed to enhance both play and the experience on the course.

Adding further excitement, Vespa offers hole-in-one prizes across the qualifying rounds and the National Finals, while Le Botanical enhances the overall tournament experience with its sun care offerings for participating golfers.
