Edvin Ying and Ryan Fernandez moved into joint leadership at five under par after the second round of the PGM Palm Resort Closed Championship 2025. Ying posted rounds of 69 and 70, while Fernandez carded 71 and 68.
Ying’s round included five birdies and three bogeys, while Fernandez recorded five birdies against a single bogey.
Overnight leader Marcus Lim slipped to a share of third with Shariffuddin Ariffin at four under par (-4), just one shot behind the leaders.
Gavin Green sits at two under par (-2) alongside Irfan Syahmi, Nicholas Fung and Syahiran Syakir.
In the Ladies Championship, Winnie Ng maintained her momentum with a round of 70, extending her lead to two strokes at six under par (-6). Liyana Durisic follows at four under (-4), with Aretha Pan at one under (-1).

The PGM Palm Resort Closed Championship 2025 offers RM180,000 in total prize money, with RM30,000 allocated to the Ladies Championship.
