Golf tournaments will now be allowed in areas under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO), the Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) announced in an advisory on Covid-19 operational guidelines sent out today.
The advisory also noted that buggy-sharing is permitted, although single rider usage is encouraged.
However, certain restrictions apply to golf tournaments at locations under CMCO, such as a limit of 100 players and a prohibition on prizegivings and gatherings. The advisory also noted that organisers of private tournaments are required to obtain prior sanction from the MGA.
