Golf tournaments are still on hold under the Recovery Movement Control Order, the Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) noted yesterday following a meeting with the National Sports Council.
In a statement on their Facebook page, the MGA noted:
“MGA President, YBhg Tan Sri Mohd Anwar and Honorary Secretary, YBhg Dato’ Zulkifli Ismail had a meeting with the Director General of Majlis Sukan Negara (MSN) today to obtain clearance for golf clubs to allow twin sharing buggy as well as to organize competitions.
“However, MSN has not able to secure approval of these two issues with Majlis Keselamatan Negara (MKN).
“In the meantime, we hope that everyone will continue to adhere with the current SOP.
“MGA will update any latest information as and when we receive them.”
