In the Ladies Championship, Liyana Durisic posted a solid three-under 69 to take a two-shot lead over Genevieve Ling. Geraldine Wong, the reigning 2024 Order of Merit winner, sits at even-par and remains firmly in contention heading into the second round.

Morning conditions were calm, but the afternoon brought gusty winds and cloud cover. A thunderstorm rolled in shortly after all players had completed their rounds.
