Malaysian Golf Association’s (MGA) National Junior Development Programme’s (NJDP) inaugural Majestic Johor Malaysian International Junior Open, will be played from November 24th to 26th, 2023, at the Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort in Pasir Gudang, Johor.
Building on the success of its first junior tournament early this year, this time, the tournament is expanded to include top junior players from the Asia Pacific region. As of the closing date, elite juniors from Malaysia, Australia, Germany, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, India, and Sri Lanka have confirmed their participation, setting the stage for an exhilarating display of young golfing talent.
Leading the Malaysian contingent will be members of the NJDP elite squad, who are already at the Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort, participating in the Junior Camp, gearing up for the tournament.
NJDP Chairman, Fauzi Mesran, expressed his gratitude and excitement: “We are immensely thankful to Johor Tourism for their steadfast support of the MGA NJDP, and to Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort for hosting this prestigious event.
